Trucking Lab, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Scholar Glance mobile application for iOS. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information in compliance with Apple's App Store guidelines.

1. Information Collection and Usage

Scholar Glance is designed to provide quick access to academic metrics with a strict focus on user privacy. We do not collect any personal data.

• No Account Required: We do not require account registration, name, or email to use the app.
• No Data Collection: We do not collect or store your Google Scholar profile URL or any resulting metrics on our servers.
• Client-Side Processing: All data fetching and parsing occur directly on your device. We do not maintain a centralized database of your academic profiles.

2. Data Security and Storage

All app settings, including your saved Google Scholar profile URLs and fetched metrics, are stored locally on your device (using UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible by us.

3. Third-Party Services

The app interacts with Google Scholar to fetch public profile information. This process is done directly from your device. Please refer to Google's own Privacy Policy regarding their data handling practices.

4. In-App Purchases

Scholar Glance offers in-app purchases for premium themes. All transactions are processed securely through the Apple App Store. We do not collect, see, or store your credit card or financial billing information.

5. Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
