Scope

Trucking Lab, LLC (“Trucking Lab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the My Rig Parking mobile application and the websites that link to this Privacy Policy. Together, these are referred to as the “Services.”

The My Rig Parking app and our websites do not necessarily collect the same information. Where a practice applies only to the app or only to a website, this policy identifies that distinction.

Information We Collect

My Rig Parking App

When you use the My Rig Parking app, we may collect information that you provide directly, including:

• Email address
• User identification information, such as a UID
• Truck parking availability reports and other information you submit through the app
• Feedback, support requests, or other communications you send to us

The app may also collect certain information automatically, including:

• Your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Device type and operating system
• App usage, screen activity, session timing, and general interaction information
• Diagnostic, performance, and analytics information
• Location information, as described below

Trucking Lab Websites

Our websites do not require users to create an account or sign in.

If you submit a contact form or otherwise contact us through a website, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, work email address, organization, study area, and message.

Basic technical information may also be recorded when you visit a website, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and date and time of access.

Location Information

This section applies to the My Rig Parking mobile app.

The app may collect or access location information provided by your device. Depending on your device settings and the permissions you grant, this may include approximate or precise location information.

We may use location information to:

• Show truck parking facilities and other relevant locations near you
• Provide location-based parking information and recommendations
• Support parking availability and other location-based features
• Analyze aggregated usage and parking activity patterns
• Improve the accuracy, functionality, and performance of the app

You can control location permissions through your mobile device settings. Some app features may not function properly if location access is disabled.

How We Use Information

We may use information collected through the Services to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services
• Provide truck parking information and location-based features
• Process parking availability reports and other user submissions
• Maintain and improve our truck parking data
• Analyze app and website performance and usage
• Respond to questions, requests, and support inquiries
• Respond to information submitted through our website forms
• Send important service-related notices
• Communicate about our services where permitted by law
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, misuse, security issues, or technical problems

Third-Party Services

The My Rig Parking app uses third-party services that may process certain information in connection with the services they provide to us.

These services include:

• Google Play Services
• Google Analytics for Firebase

These providers operate under their own privacy policies. We may also use service providers for hosting, infrastructure, communications, security, and other functions necessary to operate the Services.

How We Share Information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers. We may share information with providers that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, infrastructure, communications, and technical support.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or similar legal process.

We may also use or share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual for analytics, research, transportation planning, service improvement, and related business purposes.

Parking Reports and Aggregated Data

My Rig Parking may allow users to submit parking-related information, including parking availability reports. We may use these reports to update parking conditions, improve our parking database, analyze parking activity, and provide information to other users.

We may combine user reports with other information and use aggregated or de-identified results for analysis, research, transportation planning, service improvement, and related purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain records, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our legitimate interests.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected. Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies an individual may be retained for longer periods.

To request deletion of personal information you have provided to us, email team@myrigparking.com. We will process the request within a reasonable period, subject to information we may need to retain for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes.

Uninstalling the My Rig Parking app stops future collection by the app through your device, but it does not necessarily delete information that was previously transmitted to us.

Your Choices

Depending on how you use the Services, you may:

• Control location access through your mobile device settings
• Change other app permissions through your mobile device settings
• Uninstall the My Rig Parking app
• Choose not to submit optional information through website forms
• Request deletion of personal information by contacting us

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide additional rights regarding your personal information. You may contact us at team@myrigparking.com to submit a privacy-related request.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact team@myrigparking.com.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to websites, maps, applications, or other services operated by third parties. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services that we do not control. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
